The protection of human health, safety and the environment are our top priorities, because afterall, on the job site you’re only as good as your safety record.

Pacer has earned one of the best safety records in the industry through the creation of our comprehensive Health, Safety and Environmental Program which specifically identifies the responsibilities, commitments and training procedures of everyone on site. Code of practice, hazard assessment, emergency response planning and detailed record keeping are touchstones of Pacer’s safety policy.

We are a full member of ISNetworld and ComplyWorks

Pacer has received a Certificate of Recognition (COR) from Alberta Construction Safety Association, and is CANQUAL "Advanced" Certified.

Environmental sensitivity is a natural extension of any safety program. We are committed to protecting the environment in all aspects of our operations and our Health, Safety and the Environment policy statement includes special consideration to any decisions and actions that affect the natural landscape.

The focus of our health, safety and environmental program is:

  • Assigned responsibilities;
  • On-going employee education, bulletins and training;
  • Job specific safe work practices/procedures;
  • Safe, competent equipment operation and maintenance procedures;
  • Practices for reducing the risk of accidents and/or incidents in all activities for management, employee and trade contractors.
